CREDIT ANALYST

We are currently accepting applications for a full-time Credit Analyst to provide in-depth credit analysis on new and existing customers. Candidates applying must be organized, detail oriented and have the ability to think and work independently.

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for analyzing and monitoring the credit worthiness of the bank’s customers. Review financial statements, tax returns and bank references to evaluate the financial condition of individuals and businesses applying for credit with the bank. Provide direct service to new and existing bank customers.

  • Analyze financial information on new and existing loans and prepare preliminary analysis for the lender.
  • Evaluate, interpret and prepare financial spreadsheets, cash flows and projections.
  • Prepare and assist in the writing of loan summaries and loan memorandums for presentation to lenders and/or loan committees.
  • Maintain and update collateral information in loan files, ensuring that all collateral has been properly secured.
  • Perform Appraisal reviews.
  • Provide technical advice and assistance to loan officers.
  • Prepare a variety of monthly and quarterly reports that monitor the loan department.
  • Follow all applicable laws and regulations.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

0 – 2 years relevant experience in credit analysis.
Excellent financial, analytical and problem solving skills.
College degree in Business Administration/Finance.
Knowledge and experience using MS Word, Excel and/or other financial software.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong sales/business development skills.
Must be able to deliver strong customer service.
